Biographical

Engaged in the practice of family law since 1975, now retired from that practice.Engaged as a neutral in family law and Labour law arbitrations and mediations since 1995; experience as member of professional disciplinary panels; former Bencher and Treasurer (President) of the Law Society of British Columbia; speaker at provincial and national conferences related to family law, including CLE seminars; Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers until 2022; member of the Canadian Bar Association Family Law Section (British Columbia Branch), Labour Law Section and Civil Litigation Section; received QC form the Government of British Columbia  in 1985.

1971: B.A. (Hons), University of Victoria
1974: LL.B., University of British Columbia
1975: Called to the Bar of British Columbia
1975-1977: Associate at Warren & Company. My practice was largely family law, some criminal, labour arbitration and personal injury.
1977-1985: Sole practitioner. My practice continued to be extensively family law.
1985: Appointed Queen's Counsel by Government of British Columbia.
1985 to 2010: Karen F. Nordlinger & Associates 2010 to present,currently of counsel with Aaron Gordon Daykin and Nordlinger
